After Covid-19 forced them to temporarily close their doors, the five-star hotel, The Intercontinental - 02, needed a new promotional video to reposition themselves as the perfect location for a 'Staycation' getaway. They wanted the campaign to convey the hotel's glamour, elegance and luxury, subtly displaying their new covid-safe practices without it being the focus.
Alongside Brandon Hattiloney and James Parsons, we developed a narrative that would take the viewer through two stories, both enjoying a London staycation, running simultaneously: a male and female couple; and a pair of female friends. From enjoying breakfast in bed, to receiving a tranquil massage, to enjoying dinner and drinks in front of the incredible London skyline, the video highlighted the how viewers could enjoy a relaxing getaway in a luxury, Covid-safe environment.
